Graham Cook
BCom, MBA, FAICD, SIA (Aff)
Graham Cook is a Non-Executive Director and Corporate Advisor. He has had
over twenty years’ experience as a Chief Executive Officer in the financial
services industry, working for companies such as American Express, Chase
AMP bank, Le Fort Capital Ltd, IOOF and E-Trade.
He is Chairman of a leading technology business hub which facilitates the
commercialisation of research and development. He is also Chairman of a
firm providing global positioning technology and on the Board of Advice
of a vegetation management company.
Chief Executive Officer
Ken Kanofski
BBus, MBA, CPA, MAICD
Ken Kanofski has extensive management experience in utilities such as electricity,
water supply, telecommunications and waste management. He has a strong
track record in the management of large-scale service undertakings and
infrastructure development.
Also, with 10 years’ local government experience, Ken has an in-depth
understanding of councils’ needs, ensuring that we will develop a waste
management solution tailored to customers’ requirements.

Ralph Garland
FAIM, MAICD
Ralph Garland completed a 40-year career with Pacific Power (formerly Australia’s
largest power generation and transmission utility), during which he was
employed in a variety of roles in international business, finance, logistics,
operational and general management. His last positions included Chief Executive
and Executive Chairman.
He has extensive experience in major structural change and the commercialisation
of government businesses. Ralph served on the Board of Advice for a Proprietary
Limited company and was formerly a Director of Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd,
a Director (and Chief General Manager) of Pacific Power International Pty
Ltd, Chairman of Pacific Solar Pty Ltd, Chairman of Pacific Western Pty
Ltd and a Director of Powercoal Pty Ltd.
Ralph holds tertiary qualifications in commercial accounting procedures
and company secretarial practice.

Sandy Halley
MBA, MTCP, BSW, FAICD
Sandy Halley is a management consultant and Company Director. She is currently
chair of Mend Services Pty Ltd (a joint venture of the Construction, Forestry,
Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) and the Master Builders, providing rehabilitation
in the construction industry), Seven Mile Press (a financial education
company which publishes Australian Women’s Money magazine) and Aurora
Managers and Consultants P/L (which advises CEOs and Boards on strategy
and trains and mentors senior executives).
Sandy is former director of Illawarra Health (which operates nine hospitals
and 60 health services), Chair of City West Housing Pty Ltd, Chair/Chief
Executive Officer of Comcare Australia and CEO of the Commonwealth Rehabilitation
Service and former Board Member of Illawarra Health. She was awarded a
Centenary Medal for her contribution to Government business.

Jan McClelland
Jan is legally qualified and is the former Director General of the NSW
Department of Education and Training and Managing Director of the NSW TAFE
Commission. She has successfully led the development and implementation
of strategic and operational reforms in education and training, human resource
management, financial management and corporate governance.
Jan is a member of a number of statutory boards and committees including:
the Public Education Council, the NSW TAFE Commission Board and the Vocational
Education and Training Accreditation Board. She is also a member of the
Council of the University of New England and the Committee for the Economic
Development of Australia. She has also recently been appointed on the NRMA
board.

Steve Turner JP, B.S.W., M.L.L.R
Steve Turner is the Assistant General Secretary of the Public Service Association
of New South Wales. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Work (BSW) and
a Masters Degree in Labor Law and Relations (MLLR from Sydney Law School).
After graduating with a Social Work Degree, Steve was a community worker
in Palmerston North in New Zealand. He then moved to Australia in 1987.
For a short period of time he was a youth worker in Redfern. He was then
employed by the Public Service Association as an Industrial Officer. He
has looked after a wide variety of Government Agencies including the Ministry
for Arts, Transport, the Department of Education and Training and the Power
Industry. He has been involved in many campaigns to protect the public
sector and to improve its services and to ensure public sector workers
have appropriate wages and conditions.
Steve Turner was the person responsible for the Librarians Pay Equity case
at the PSA. Most recently he has been actively involved in launching the
Dignity and Respect in the Workplace Charter to ensure all public sector
workplaces are free from harassment and bullying.

Angelo Tsirekas
Angelo commenced his service as a local
councillor in 1995, served as Deputy Mayor for three terms and was elected
Mayor of the City of Canada Bay in 2003. He works full time as a Senior
Environmental Health and Building Surveyor.
Angelo is the chair of the Five Dock
Leisure Centre; Canada Bay Traffic Committee; Youth Committee; Policy and
Finance Committee. He has also served as President and Vice President of
the IMROC and Director of the Inner Sydney Waste Board.
Angelo is an Honorary Member of Drummoyne
Rotary Club and is the holder of the Paul Harris award. He is also patron
of several community and sporting organizations within the Canada Bay area.
